1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the RDL Summit, LLC (“RDL Summit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) website and your participation in the private conference focused on advancing medical development (the “Conference”).
By accessing our website, registering for the Conference, or attending the Conference, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or attend the Conference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access the website or attend the Conference.
Attendance is limited to approved registrants and invited participants only.

3. Registration

  • The RDL Summit, LLC is a private by invitation only event.
  • Registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation letter. 
  • You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration.
  • RDL Summit, LLC reserves the right to approve or deny any registration at its discretion.

4. Conference Access & Security

  • You may be required to present valid identification at check-in.
  • Attendee badges are non-transferable.
  • RDL Summit may deny entry or remove any participant who violates these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials presented at the Conference—including slides, recordings, documentation, publications, and website content—are owned by RDL Summit or their respective creators and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, record, reproduce, or transmit Conference content without express permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with website operations or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Harass, threaten, or interfere with other attendees.
  • Record sessions or distribute proprietary information without permission.
  • Engage in conduct that disrupts the Conference or poses safety risks.

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Disclaimer

The R&D Leadership Summit is for informational and professional purposes only.
RDL Summit, LLC does not provide medical, legal, investment, or regulatory advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • RDL Summit, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from attendance, travel, or reliance on information provided at the Conference.
  • You participate voluntarily and assume all risks associated with attendance.

8. Privacy

Your use of the website and participation in the Conference is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

9. Changes to the Conference

The RDL Summit, LLC may modify the schedule, speakers, or format of the Conference at any time.

In the event of cancellation, RDL Summit, LLC may offer refunds or credits at its sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which RDL Summit, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

RDL Summit is committed to providing a professional, safe, and inclusive environment dedicated to advancing medical development. By attending the Conference, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

1. Expected Behavior

Attendees, speakers, staff, and sponsors must:

  • Treat all participants with respect and courtesy.
  • Maintain a professional environment.
  • Follow all applicable laws and venue rules.
  • Respect confidentiality where required.
  • Use Conference spaces for legitimate professional purposes only.

2. Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable conduct includes:

  • Harassment or discrimination based on race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or other protected characteristics.
  • Aggressive, disruptive, or threatening behavior.
  • Unapproved recording, photography, or distribution of proprietary material.
  • Sharing confidential or private discussions without consent.
  • Impersonation or using false credentials.

3. Reporting Issues

If you witness or experience inappropriate behavior, report it to Conference staff or security immediately.

We take all reports seriously and handle them with discretion.

4. Consequences of Violations

RDL Summit, LLC may take any of the following actions:

  • Warning to the offender
  • Removal from the event 
  • Revocation of future attendance privileges
  • In severe cases, involvement of law enforcement

5. Commitment to Safety

RDL Summit, LLC reserves the right to restrict access to protect attendee safety, maintain a productive environment, and uphold the integrity of the Conference.

Attendee Photography & Media Release

This Attendee Photography & Media Release (“Release”) outlines how photographs, video, and audio recordings (“Media”) may be captured and used during the R&D Leadership Summit (the “Summit”), organized by RDL Summit, LLC (“RDL Summit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By attending the Summit, you (“Attendee,” “you”) acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Consent to Photography, Audio, and Video Recording

By entering Summit premises or participating in Summit events—whether in-person or virtual—you consent to the capture of your image, likeness, voice, and statements through:

  • Photography
  • Videography and live or recorded video
  • Audio recording
  • Live streaming
  • Media captured by RDL Summit–authorized staff, vendors, and media partners

2. Permission to Use Media

You grant RDL Summit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, modify, and create derivative works from the Media for purposes including but not limited to:

  • Event documentation
  • Marketing materials
  • Social media posts
  • Websites and online platforms
  • Print publications
  • Press releases
  • Training or internal presentations

You understand that your name, title, organization, likeness, and/or voice may appear in such Media. The R&D Leadership Summit is a private by invitation only meeting. We maintain Chatham house rules. 

3. No Expectation of Compensation

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You will receive no financial compensation for the use of Media.
  • You are not entitled to inspect, review, approve, or restrict any Media created under this Release.

4. Ownership of Media

All Media captured by or on behalf of RDL Summit is the exclusive property of RDL Summit.

You waive any rights of publicity, privacy, or moral rights to the extent permitted by law.

5. Opt-Out Procedure

We understand that some attendees may wish to avoid being photographed or recorded.

If you do not want your image or voice captured:

  1. Notify RDL Summit staff in advance of the event, and
  2. Wear the designated opt-out indicator (e.g., color-coded lanyard or badge sticker) provided at check-in.

RDL Summit will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from incidental or background capture.

If you choose to attend public sessions, networking areas, or plenary rooms, incidental appearance may still occur.

6. Restrictions on Attendee-Created Media

To protect confidentiality and proprietary content:

  • Attendees may not photograph, record, or livestream slidespresentationsposter sessions, or any content marked as confidential or restricted.
  • Recording inside closed-door or invite-only sessions is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized.

7. Release of Liability

You hereby release and discharge RDL Summit, its officers, employees, contractors, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action related to:

  • The capture, use, or publication of Media
  • Any distortion, alteration, or use in composite form
  • Any claims for defamation, infringement, or invasion of privacy arising out of such use

8. Minors

The Summit is intended for adults (18+).

No minors are permitted to attend. Therefore, this Release applies only to adult participants.

9. Acknowledgment

By attending the R&D Leadership Summit, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Attendee Photography & Media Release.
